This site is dedicated to the memory of Harold

Harold was born in Pontypridd on May 07, 1948, the youngest of 13 siblings. Married to Barbara on August 28th, 1982 and father to Louise and Matthew. He is much loved and will always be remembered by all his friends and family for his good nature, sense of humour and love of rugby.

In recent years Harold had a condition called Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF).
It is a life limiting condition that causes scarring of the lungs.
·  Idiopathic meaning 'of unknown cause'.
·  Pulmonary meaning 'affecting the lungs'.
·  Fibrosis meaning 'thickening' or 'scarring'.
Unfortunately this condition and many other lung conditions do
not have a treatment. There is no known cure for people who develop IPF. Currently there is only medication available for comfort as well as medication recently developed with hopes to prolong life for people diagnosed with this disorder.
Funding is important in order for the British Lung Foundation to be able to continue with their work into treatment research as well as funding towards making people who have developed lung conditions more comfortable.

Matthew, Mum and I would like to THANK YOU for your support and contribution.
